NextStream (Tamboré) Data Center

The Tamboré Data Center stands as a cornerstone of digital infrastructure in Santana de Parnaíba, São Paulo. Since its inception, the facility has undergone significant growth, with its first two phases completed in 2011 and 2018. Currently, it operates with a 6.1 MW IT power supply, but it is engineered for rapid scalability; the facility is prepared to expand to 11.5 MW in the medium term. Looking further ahead, the site includes vacant surface area designed to accommodate a second building, which would bring the maximum capacity to 23 MW, effectively doubling the total IT load of the campus.

As a pioneer in the Latin American market, Tamboré was among the first data centers in the region to achieve Tier III Certification for both Design and Facilities. It further distinguishes itself with a Gold certification in Operational Sustainability. The facility spans 4,600 square meters of IT whitespace, strategically divided into two massive IT rooms. This infrastructure supports a variety of colocation needs, including full cabinets, partial cabinets, shared rackspace, and private suites, all supported by highly responsive on site remote hands services.

At Nabiax, the physical security of hosted data is a primary mandate, addressed through the integration of cutting edge technology and rigorous operational protocols. The facility employs a multi layered defense strategy to impede unauthorized access and ensure total data privacy. This includes an experienced security team that monitors the premises around the clock, ensuring that the trust placed in the facility by its clients is maintained through constant vigilance and professional oversight.

Electronic security and strict access control are fundamental to the daily operations of the data center, governing the entry of both personnel and goods. Every space within the facility is segmented by different levels of accessibility, ensuring that movement is restricted to authorized individuals only. These areas are under continuous surveillance via high definition CCTV systems and are protected by biometric controls, creating a verifiable and secure environment for sensitive hardware and mission critical data.

The reliability of the Tamboré facility is rooted in its inherent resistance to failures, achieved through the total redundancy of critical systems. Following Tier III standards, the facility features multiple independent routes for both electrical supply and cooling. By duplicating the feeding of IT equipment, Nabiax ensures that maintenance work can be performed on any component of the infrastructure without causing service interruptions, thereby guaranteeing consistent and reliable uptime for all clients.
