Our IBX data center presence in Santiago is distributed across four buildings, providing a combined colocation space of approximately 81,117 square feet (7,536 square meters). These carrier-neutral facilities are strategically located around the Santiago metro, hosting a rich ecosystem of enterprises, networks, financial services, and cloud & IT companies. The data center became operational in 2010 and features two building floors with a raised floor type. Services available include Full Cabinets, Partial Cabinets, Shared Rackspace, and Cages, in addition to Remote Hands.
Power and Infrastructure
The total power capacity across the facilities is 7.5 MW. Power redundancy for the UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) is maintained at N+1. Standby Power Redundancy is also N+1, supplied by three 1600kW prime and three 2000kW continuous power generators.
Cooling and Redundancy
Cooling Redundancy is maintained at N+1. The cooling system consists of water-cooled chillers with CRAHs (Computer Room Air Handlers) that provide underfloor cold aisle air distribution coupled with hot aisle containment.
Sustainability and Certifications
The facility adheres to high standards of operational quality and sustainability, holding numerous certifications including ISO27001, ISO9001, ISO22301, and ISO50001. Furthermore, it is certified DSS PCI, SOC 1 Type II, and SOC 2 Type II.
Security and Safety
Security measures include a Fenced Perimeter, Mantrap Entry, CCTV surveillance, and Biometric Access Control. Fire suppression is handled by an Automatic Firesuppression system utilizing Gas Suppression (Novec 1230). The facility is staffed with Onsite Security Staff 24/7 and Onsite Technical Staff 24/7.

The facility supports 6 Peering networks, emphasizing its role as a key connectivity hub.
