Data Horizon Americas (DHAmericas) Data Center

The campus occupies a vast 50,000 m² plot, which is more than double the size of any other contiguous plot in the park, specifically designed to support global hyperscale deployments. The total planned campus power capacity is up to 55 MVA (Mega Volt-Amperes), supporting a fully built-out critical IT load capacity of up to 40 MW (Megawatts). The campus is meticulously planned to span over 29,500 m² of total building space, featuring up to six buildings that house 12 independent critical infrastructure blocks, which translates to approximately 11,500 m² of white space. The design allows for flexibility, including multi-story customization, though the built-out white space assumption is based on a single-story model.

The DHAmericas Bogota Campus is a purpose-built facility strategically located about 30 minutes from El Dorado International Airport and is positioned for low latency connectivity, within a 10-20 km range of all major regional peering exchange points. The construction is designed to house up to six buildings, each featuring multiple independent infrastructure blocks. The site is a fully secured economic free zone with a fenced perimeter and is designed to comply with major datacenter certification requirements and best-practice market standards.

The facility is designed for reliability and operational continuity, ensuring concurrent maintainability operations consistent with Tier III industry standards. This Tier III compliance signifies that the facility has multiple independent distribution paths for power and cooling, and critical IT equipment can be serviced without causing a shutdown. The design allows for flexible diverse redundancy topology designs to support the critical IT load capacity, which includes provisions for high-density deployments.

The campus is positioned to support the scale, growth, and long-term commitment needs of global hyperscale, colocation, and content providers. The design, featuring up to six buildings and 12 independent critical infrastructure blocks, offers various deployment concepts such as Powered Shell, Build-to-Suit, and Data Hall(s). Colocation options listed include full cabinets, partial cabinets, and shared rackspace, catering to varied customer needs for scalable IT solutions.

Security is paramount, with the campus situated within the Zona Franca Occidente, a fully secured economic free zone. Physical security is maintained by 24/7 onsite security staff. Operationally, the facility maintains 24/7 onsite technical staff and aligns with all major datacenter certification requirements and best-practice market standards to ensure a robust and reliable infrastructure for client operations.

Beyond core datacenter functions, the campus provides several essential amenities, including a Meet-Me-Room (MMR) for carrier-neutral interconnection, a Breakroom, Office Space, and a Loading Bay. WiFi access and On-Site Parking Lots are also available. Connectivity is a key strength, given the proximity to major peering exchange points and the low latency profile. The campus also offers Remote Hands services, providing expert technical assistance for managing equipment remotely.
