To ensure all equipment operates at peak efficiency, the facility is equipped with high-capacity, redundant HVAC (Carrier) systems. These systems maintain an optimal and stable temperature and humidity level throughout the data center. The environmental controls are backed by 24/7/365 emergency service and preventative maintenance contracts with certified HVAC technicians to identify and resolve potential issues before they can impact services.

The facility's electrical grid is designed for N+1 redundancy, providing 220-240 volt AC power. This system includes parallel redundant Uninterruptible Power Sources (UPS) to ensure a clean and continuous power supply. In the event of a utility outage, the UPS batteries take over seamlessly while an onsite power generator, capable of running the entire data center at full load for 48 hours without refueling, is automatically started by an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS). This entire process is transparent to servers, ensuring no interruption in service.

Physical access to the data center is strictly controlled and isolated from the public. Entry is forbidden to everyone except specialized technicians holding authorized pass cards. The facility is protected by high-security external doors, an intruder alarm system monitoring all entry points, and a comprehensive CCTV system. This surveillance system monitors all building exteriors, access corridors, and individual computer rooms with full recording and playback capabilities.

The data center is outfitted with an advanced fire protection system. This includes smoke and high-temperature detection sensors linked to an alarm system that alerts the Technical Operations Center (TOC) 24/7/365, often before temperatures reach dangerous levels. If a fire is detected, a zone-based fire extinguishing mechanism activates to suppress the threat precisely where it occurs, minimizing potential damage.

The network is built for high-availability demands using enterprise-class Cisco routers and switches on a Gigabit Ethernet backbone. Connectivity is ensured through redundant fiber connections on diverse physical paths and a carrier-neutral environment with three redundant backbone providers using BGP4. The network maintains excess capacity even during peak hours, allowing it to absorb large traffic spikes and ensure maximum uptime even if one provider experiences an outage.

All servers and network components are monitored 24/7/365 by expert staff. This includes availability monitoring (Ping), fault monitoring (WWW, DNS, MAIL), and performance monitoring (CPU, memory, disk usage). Security is enforced through CISCO PIX firewalls, Real-time Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and an enterprise antivirus solution. The security team also performs vulnerability assessments and provides 24/7 support and security consulting.
