TDF (Bordeaux Bouliac) Data Center

TDF offers a robust network of regional data centers strategically located across France’s major economic hubs, including Paris, Marseille, Lille, Bordeaux, and Rennes. These facilities are designed for scalability and high density operations, featuring a total plot size of 30000 sq.m. and a fully built out whitespace of 500 sq.m. The infrastructure is highly flexible, supporting a variety of configurations from shared rackspace and full cabinets to private cages, dedicated suites, and custom build to suit footprints for larger enterprises.

The power architecture is engineered to support demanding computational workloads with a total capacity of 1 MW. These centers are optimized for high density deployments, capable of delivering a maximum power of 150 kW per rack. To ensure maximum efficiency, the facilities maintain a PUE of 1.3, balancing high performance with sustainable energy consumption.

Designed to Tier 3 standards, the data centers prioritize continuous uptime through a comprehensive 2N redundancy strategy. This means that every critical system, including Uninterruptible Power Supply, cooling systems, and standby power generators, has a completely independent backup. This architecture ensures that maintenance or unexpected component failures do not interrupt the always on nature of the hosted infrastructure.

Environmental stability is managed through a 2N redundant cooling system, ensuring that even during peak thermal loads or equipment maintenance, the airflow and temperature remain within optimal operating parameters. This focus on environmental control is paired with automatic fire suppression systems and advanced fire detection, providing a totally secure climate for sensitive hardware.

The centers are housed within a highly protected environment, featuring a fenced perimeter and a protected external area to deter unauthorized entry. Security is enforced through a multi factor approach including CCTV surveillance, card access control, and a constant presence of onsite security staff 24/7. These measures ensure that the physical assets are as well protected as the digital data they house.

As a carrier neutral provider, TDF facilities offer a rich connectivity ecosystem. Each site features a dedicated Meet Me Room, providing access to nine different network providers and eight peering networks. This density of providers, combined with the presence of two tenants offering colocation services, ensures low latency paths and diverse routing options for global and local data transit.

TDF demonstrates its commitment to international standards through ISO27001 certification, ensuring rigorous information security management. Beyond the physical infrastructure, the facilities are supported by 24/7 onsite technical staff and Remote Hands services. This allows clients to manage their hardware effectively without needing to be physically present, backed by a team capable of handling whitespace expansion as business needs grow.
