The datacenter, built by Bouygues Telecom, has a total area of 3,400 sq m (36,597 sq ft) and was commissioned in 1999. It offers a housing capacity of up to 1,000 racks, distributed across four mutualized rooms and ten private rooms. The facility operates as a sole-tenant site and was retrofitted for datacenter use. It provides up to 12 kW per rack and maintains a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of 1.3.
Electrical Infrastructure
The datacenter benefits from a dual 20kV electrical connection from EDF. Two 1,250 kVA transformer stations supply four separated Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) with 2N redundancy. An additional 5MVA of electrical capacity was scheduled for deployment in 2013/2014, bringing the fully built-out power capacity to 3.8 MW.
Cooling System
The facility is equipped with 36 independent direct expansion cooling units and operates with an N+1 cooling redundancy design. A 1,920 kW chilled water production plant was introduced in 2013 to enhance cooling capacity, ensuring reliable temperature control across the datacenter.
Network Connectivity
The datacenter offers robust network connectivity with dual optical fiber supply. It is currently connected through multiple carriers, including France Telecom, Interoute, Colt, SFR, and Bouygues Telecom, with six peering networks accessible through a dedicated Meet-Me-Room (MMR).
