Digital Realty PAR5, formerly known as Interxion PAR5, is a highly connected and strategically located data center in Paris. Following the acquisition of Interxion by Digital Realty in 2022, the facility was rebranded to reflect the new ownership. Situated just 10 km from the Paris city centre, 16 km from Charles de Gaulle Airport, and only 1 km from the Paris ring road, PAR5 offers easy access and strong connectivity for businesses in the cloud, digital media, and finance sectors.

PAR5 supports a vibrant ecosystem of carriers, ISPs, and Internet Exchanges, providing businesses with access to major network providers and the France IX Internet Exchange. The facility is equipped with dual-entry fibre connections and SLA-based cross connects, ensuring reliable and redundant connectivity. It also forms part of a unique dark fibre network interconnecting Digital Realty’s seven Paris data centers, enabling seamless dual-site operations and enhanced flexibility.

The data center offers managed power infrastructure designed with built-in resilience, allowing customers to add new equipment without risk of downtime. It supports a mix of power densities and redundancy configurations, offers both AC and DC output currents, and features N+1 backup generators capable of supporting the facility for up to 72 hours at full load. Service level agreements (SLAs) guarantee up to 99.999% power availability, ensuring mission-critical uptime.

PAR5 maintains rigorous security protocols with five layers of physical security, including mantrap entry systems, biometric and card access controls, and 24/7 CCTV surveillance. Onsite trained security staff are available around the clock, and the facility is ISO and BS certified for information security management systems, assuring clients of high compliance and operational standards.

All equipment is housed in a climate-controlled environment that ensures optimal operating conditions. Fire safety is a top priority, with fire-retardant walls, very early smoke detection apparatus (VESDA), direct communication with fire stations, and an automatic inert gas-based fire suppression system. SLAs are in place for temperature and humidity control in accordance with ASHRAE recommendations, guaranteeing a stable infrastructure environment.
