The Colt Paris Bessières data centre is a premier Tier III carrier neutral facility strategically positioned in the heart of Paris. Located just 4 km from the Gare du Nord railway station and approximately 15 km from the nearest major airport, it offers an ideal balance of urban accessibility and secure isolation. The purpose built structure spans a total of 1,100 sq.m., providing a resilient environment designed specifically to house mission critical IT infrastructure with state of the art technology.

The onsite team manages the entire mechanical and electrical infrastructure, ranging from capacity planning to energy procurement. The facility is engineered to provide high density power with a total provision of 2.56 MVA. To ensure uninterrupted operations, the data centre utilizes a 2N UPS redundancy system and N+1 standby power redundancy via onsite generators. In the event of a utility failure, the system features a 10 minute battery autonomy, providing a critical buffer to ensure a smooth transition to backup generator power for the 1.6 MW of fully built out power capacity.

The site is monitored by full internal and external CCTV coverage and staffed by onsite security personnel at all times. Access is strictly governed by photo badge systems and card access controls linked directly to Colt, ensuring that only authorized individuals can enter the premises, all in strict alignment with ISO 27001 standards.
