Located immediately adjacent to the Boulevard Périphérique, Smartdc Paris offers prime proximity to the city center, positioning it as a premier hub for large scale IT infrastructure within one of Europe’s most vital metropolitan areas. This strategic location serves as a gateway to the FLAP markets and beyond, enabling low latency connectivity to Frankfurt, London, Amsterdam, and Rotterdam. As a carrier neutral facility with two dedicated Meet Me Rooms and multiple in house carriers, the data center is designed to seamlessly support massive user bases across the continent.

Reliability is a core design principle of the facility, which operates on a Tier III uptime architecture. The data center is supported by a dedicated powerhouse with A plus B feed redundancy, ensuring uninterrupted operations during grid disturbances. This resilient electrical infrastructure supports high density deployments with a maximum power density of 13 kW per square meter. In line with modern environmental goals, the facility runs on 100 percent green energy, combining performance with sustainability.

To maintain optimal hardware performance, Smartdc Paris employs an advanced climate management system with cold and hot aisle containment. Each server room is supported by four Computer Room Air Conditioning units, backed by a power redundant N plus 1 chiller plant. An air sock delivery system is installed in every room to ensure uniform cold air distribution, eliminating hotspots and maintaining consistent operating temperatures.

The facility is secured by a multi layered physical security perimeter designed to be ram raid proof. The entire site is enclosed within a fenced compound and monitored around the clock by on site security personnel and controlled entry speed gates. Additional logistical security measures include vehicle license plate registration and motion detection systems. All indoor and outdoor areas are covered by a fully digital CCTV network with automatic movement detection, low light visibility, and on premises monitoring.

Internal access is governed by strict biometric authentication, card readers, and detailed access control lists. These systems ensure that only authorized individuals can enter sensitive areas such as restricted colocation zones. For fire protection, server rooms are equipped with smoke detection systems and a gas based automatic fire suppression solution that extinguishes fire risks without harming critical electronic equipment.

Smartdc Paris offers a wide range of flexible colocation solutions, including shared rackspace, partial cabinets, full cabinets, private cages, and custom built suites. Clients can also utilize Remote Hands services for on site technical support. The facility adheres to high operational standards and is scheduled for 2024 certification for ISO 27001 and NEN 7510, the latter being a specialized Dutch standard for the secure handling of medical and patient data.
