Digital Realty PAR1, formerly known as Interxion PAR1, is a state-of-the-art data center located just 10 km from central Paris, 16 km from Charles de Gaulle Airport, and 1 km from the city’s ring road. Since Interxion’s acquisition and rebranding in 2022, PAR1 has become a critical part of Digital Realty’s global digital infrastructure network.

PAR1 is purpose-built to support businesses in the cloud, finance, and digital media sectors. It hosts a dynamic ecosystem of 12 network providers and 35 peering networks, with direct access to the France IX Internet Exchange. Dual-entry fiber paths and SLA-backed cross-connects provide high-speed, redundant connectivity. A dedicated dark fiber ring connects PAR1 with six other Digital Realty sites in Paris, enabling efficient dual-site configurations and network optimization.
Robust Power and Infrastructure
Equipped with 2 MW of white space and 1,709 m² of technical area, PAR1 offers scalable and reliable infrastructure. It supports multiple redundancy configurations and provides both AC and DC power outputs. Backup generators with N+1 redundancy deliver up to 72 hours of full-load autonomy, while SLAs ensure 99.999% power availability, supporting seamless scalability and operational continuity.
Unmatched Security and Compliance
Security is central to PAR1’s operations. The facility has five layers of physical protection including biometric access, CCTV surveillance, card-based access systems, and mantrap entries. Onsite security staff are present 24/7. PAR1 complies with global standards and holds certifications such as ISO 27001, ISO 14001, ISO 22301, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and PCI DSS.
Advanced Fire Protection and Environmental Controls
PAR1 features advanced fire protection systems including fire-retardant construction, VESDA (very early smoke detection), and automatic inert gas fire suppression. Direct links to local fire services ensure rapid emergency response. Climate control is managed 24/7 with temperature and humidity regulated under SLAs based on ASHRAE standards.
