Synapsecom Telecoms (SNC-2)
Founded in 2007 in Athens, Greece, Synapsecom is a leading telecommunications and data center services provider. The company operates a robust backbone network comprising multiple fully protected Gbit and 10Gbit fiber links interconnecting all Points of Presence (POPs) and Synapsecom data centers.
Network and Connectivity
Synapsecom maintains POPs in Athens, Sofia, and Frankfurt, all hosted within carrier-neutral data centers. The company ensures consistent service quality through strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The carrier-neutral infrastructure allows customers to choose their preferred network providers and interconnect with both national and international carriers and ISPs. Additionally, customers can establish interconnections with other tenants’ networks through a single point of presence, eliminating the need for multiple interconnections across different locations. The major network between Sofia (Bulgaria) and Thessaloniki (Greece)—utilized by major domestic and international ISPs—is terminated at Synapsecom’s data center.
Facility Overview
The facility spans a Fully Built-Out Whitespace of 1,500 sq.m., designed to accommodate a wide range of advanced telecommunications and IT equipment. The infrastructure supports multiple tenancy options, including Full Cabinets, Partial Cabinets, Shared Rackspace, Cages, and Suites Footprints, offering flexibility for different business requirements.

Each rack supports up to 15 kW of power, ensuring high-density deployments. The data center operates under a Tier 3 design, providing redundancy and reliability for continuous uptime. Optimal temperature and humidity levels are maintained to ensure smooth operation of all high-performance equipment.

Security is a top priority, with 24/7 on-site security staff preventing unauthorized access. The facility is also equipped with uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems and continuous 24/7 monitoring. Customers can access remote hands services and full technical support from Synapsecom’s trained professionals as needed.
