Dataplex has recently completed the fitout of its first data centre, B10, located in West Dublin. The company specializes in rapid response to customer needs, offering the ability to fit out a suite to specific requirements within very short lead times and on a highly competitive cost base.
Power and Technical Space
The B10 facility is supported by 8 MW of connected, available power. It features 4,800 sqm of available technical space, which is segmented into four private suites, allowing for secure, dedicated customer environments.
Advanced Cooling and Efficiency
This data centre utilizes the latest in free air cooling technology. This advanced system allows the facility to operate at an industry-leading Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of less than 1.2, ensuring high energy efficiency and lower operational costs.
Resilience and Redundancy
To ensure maximum uptime and reliability, the B10 facility is built with N+1 or greater redundancy on all critical mechanical and electrical systems. This design applies to key infrastructure including UPS, cooling systems, and standby power.
Network Connectivity
The facility boasts diverse connectivity to the T50, which is Dublin's orbital backbone fibre network. This strategic connection provides robust, high-speed access and connectivity to virtually all other Irish data centres.
Comprehensive On-Site Security
B10 is protected by industry-standard, multi-layered security systems. This includes 24/7 manned security staff on-site, comprehensive CCTV surveillance, and stringent access controls featuring 3-part biometric access and card access systems.
