Through close collaboration with regional IT partners, NorthC facilitates comprehensive digital transformations for its clients across nearly 80,000 m² of floor space and a total electrical capacity of 65 MW.

The Delft data center is a vital component of NorthC's footprint in the Rotterdam The Hague metropolitan region. Spanning 5,000 m², it is one of three facilities in the area, a geographic distribution that allows for the implementation of twin data center solutions. This setup provides organizations with high level redundancy, ensuring that data and applications remain secure and available even in the event of a localized outage. Furthermore, its proximity to South Holland’s main fiber ring ensures low latency performance for critical business operations.

From a technical capacity standpoint, the Delft facility is fully optimized with 1.5 MW of both live and fully built out power. The site offers 1,800 m² of whitespace within its total 5,000 m² structure, engineered to support heavy duty hardware with a maximum floor load of 1,100 kg/m². This infrastructure is designed to be versatile, accommodating various housing needs through full and partial cabinets, shared rackspace, private cages, suites, and customized footprints.

Connectivity is a cornerstone of the Delft site, featuring a direct link to the Amsterdam Internet Exchange AMS IX. The facility acts as a hub for 32 peering networks and hosts one primary Internet Exchange Point IXP. With access to over 15 network providers and multiple tenants offering colocation services, clients benefit from a rich ecosystem of carrier neutral options that ensure reliable and high speed data transfer across the Netherlands and beyond.

To ensure 24/7 uptime, the Delft data center employs rigorous redundancy protocols across all critical systems. Power is protected via an N+1 UPS configuration and a 2N standby power system, while cooling systems also follow an N+1 redundancy model to prevent overheating. Furthermore, Remote Hands services are available to provide on site technical assistance, ensuring that hardware issues can be addressed immediately without the client needing to be physically present.

Security at the Delft facility is multi layered, combining physical barriers with advanced technology. The site is protected by a fenced perimeter, 24/7 on site security staff, CCTV surveillance, and biometric access control to prevent unauthorized entry. For internal safety, the data center utilizes a specialized HI FOG water mist fire suppression system, designed to extinguish fires quickly while minimizing potential damage to sensitive electronic equipment.
