The Interconnect Eindhoven Data Center, established in 2011, is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility situated in Eindhoven, close to the A2 highway. It forms part of a twin-site setup with its sister location in Den Bosch, delivering regional redundancy and enhanced interconnectivity. Initially offering 3,000 square meters of white space, the facility is scalable up to 6,000 square meters to meet future demand.
Reliable Power Infrastructure and Energy Efficiency
The data center operates with a robust power infrastructure featuring a full 10 MW capacity. It incorporates dual power feeds (A- and B-feeds), each independently supported by UPS systems, generators, and transformers. A third power feed is also available for uninterrupted operation during maintenance. Designed for high-density IT environments, it supports up to 10 kW per rack. Energy efficiency is enhanced through cold corridor cooling and direct free cooling technologies.
Advanced Connectivity and Network Redundancy
Connectivity is a key advantage of the Eindhoven facility. It offers dual 10 Gbit connections to Amsterdam and Den Bosch through geographically diverse carriers. Eurofiber and KPN serve the Amsterdam route, while Ziggo and Eurofiber ensure reliable links to Den Bosch. Two dedicated Meet-Me Rooms (MMRs) enable extensive interconnection options and reinforce network redundancy. Integration with six peering networks supports high-speed, low-latency data exchange.
Security, Support, and Flexible Colocation
The facility is protected and supported around the clock by onsite security and technical personnel. It offers 24/7 support and remote hands services. Clients can choose from a wide range of colocation options, including full or partial cabinets, shared rackspace, private cages, and custom-built suites, providing flexible solutions for businesses of all sizes.
