IXcellerate (MOS4) Data Center

IXcellerate Moscow Four (MOS4) is a state-of-the-art data center situated within the IXcellerate Moscow North campus. Designed to meet the demanding needs of modern enterprises, MOS4 accommodates up to 512 racks with a total power design capacity of 7 MW, supporting a substantial white space area of 1,861 square meters.

MOS4 delivers exceptional reliability with a power availability Service Level Agreement (SLA) of 99.982%. The facility incorporates advanced cooling technology featuring high-efficiency, customizable systems with N+1 redundancy. Isolated hot aisles and cold walls cooling techniques ensure optimal thermal management, while the design Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) is maintained below 1.3, reflecting energy-efficient operations.

Security is paramount at MOS4, with up to six layers of physical security measures. The data center is protected by 24/7 dedicated onsite security personnel and employs cutting-edge non-contact biometric access systems. Comprehensive surveillance is ensured through CCTV cameras equipped with motion detectors, alongside multiple security checkpoints such as airlocks, speed stiles, and mantraps. Additional safeguards include an ultra-early smoke detection system and integrated fire safety, utilizing a gas fire extinguishing system with NOVEC safe agent to minimize risk and ensure rapid response.

Connectivity at MOS4 is robust and flexible, offering access to over 50 telecom operators. The facility supports multiple independent fiber Points of Entry as well as inter- and intra-campus connections, ensuring seamless data flow and redundancy. Clients benefit from connectivity to multiple Internet Exchange (IX) platforms, including Eurasia Peering and MSK-IX, enhancing network reach and performance.

MOS4 meets stringent industry standards, holding PCI DSS and ISO certifications that guarantee compliance and security best practices. The data center operates continuously, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with technical support available in both English and Russian to cater to a diverse client base.

Clients can select from a variety of hosting options including full cabinets, partial cabinets, shared rack space, cages, suites, and customizable footprints. The facility provides remote hands services to assist with on-site technical tasks. A dedicated Meet-Me-Room (MMR) facilitates direct interconnection with peering networks, further expanding connectivity options.
