The Stack.M1 data center, which began operations in 2006, is recognized by Jonson&Partners and "Modern Telecommunications" as the largest and most marketable technological site in Russia. It was purpose-built to deliver high-quality outsourcing services, leveraging fault-tolerant data centers to ensure reliability. The facility operates as a Multi-tenant (mixed-use) site, accommodating various client needs. The security infrastructure is robust, featuring onsite security staff available 24/7.
Physical Scale and Server Capacity
The total area of the Stack.M1 site exceeds 3000 square meters, of which 1800 square meters are dedicated to server rooms. Initially, the facility comprised three server rooms supporting standard rack loading capacities of 5–8 kW per rack. For racks using non-standard equipment, power capacity can be significantly increased up to 15 kW.
Capacity Expansion
A major expansion took place at the end of 2012 with the addition of a fourth server room, increasing the total capacity by an additional 300 racks, further reinforcing Stack.M1's role as a leading hosting and outsourcing provider in the region.
Service Offerings and Compliance
Stack.M1 delivers a range of flexible tenancy options including full cabinets, partial cabinets, shared rackspace, and dedicated cages. Additional services such as Remote Hands support and DSS (Data Storage System) are also offered. The facility meets key international standards including PCI compliance and ISO27001 certification, reflecting strong commitments to security and quality management.
Network Infrastructure
The data center is engineered for optimized connectivity with access to 14 different peering networks, ensuring network diversity and redundancy. Additional infrastructure features include roof access and facility design elements supporting stable, resilient operations.
