D ALiX Datacenter for the Atlantic Link of internet eXchange is a critical neutral access point and submarine cable station located in the Canary Islands. Its strategic geographic position makes it a vital gateway for international data traffic, currently hosting multiple submarine cables connecting Europe and Africa. With planned future expansions toward South America, D ALiX is evolving into a primary bridge for global internet exchange across the Atlantic.
World Class Infrastructure and Tier IV Design
Operational since 2011, D ALiX is a purpose built facility engineered to meet the highest standards of reliability and performance. While commonly classified as Tier III plus, the datacenter follows Tier IV design principles, delivering a fully built out power capacity of 5 MW. It supports high density deployments with a maximum power to area ratio of 2 kW per square meter, enabling it to accommodate even the most demanding computational workloads.
Expansive Whitespace and Colocation Options
The facility provides 2,000 square meters of fully built out whitespace, with additional capacity available for future expansion. D ALiX offers a broad range of colocation solutions, including dedicated private suites, secure cages, and customized footprints, as well as standard options such as full cabinets, partial cabinets, and shared rack space. The site also features on site Meet Me Rooms and roof access to support specialized connectivity and equipment requirements.
