Power Infrastructure & Redundancy
The facility employs a multi layered power strategy to prevent infrastructure downtime. Critical components include high quality Uninterruptible Power Supply systems with automatic bypass capabilities and high quality diesel generators, both of which are covered by manufacturer maintenance agreements. To ensure readiness, Cygrids conducts scheduled monthly tests of both the UPS and generator systems. Furthermore, the facility maintains direct access to the main power station, stocks extra fuses on site, and ensures internal personnel are trained to handle emergency power transitions.
Environmental Controls & Cooling
To protect electronic hardware from heat related failures, Cygrids manages comprehensive HVAC Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems. This infrastructure includes everything from the primary cooling units down to the Power Distribution Units and specialized cabling. Infrastructure downtime is strictly defined by any instance where electronics must be shut down due to thermal or power issues, with every event meticulously logged in the Cygrids monitoring system to ensure transparency and rapid remediation.
Physical Security & Access Control
Security is integrated into the facility physical design through a defense in depth approach. The perimeter is fully fenced, and entry is managed via a mantrap system to prevent tailgating. Access is strictly restricted and monitored using CCTV surveillance and card access control, supported by 24/7 onsite security staff. These measures ensure that only authorized personnel can interact with the hardware, maintaining the integrity of the co location environment.
