Areas & Capacity
The data centers offer flexible options including racks, rackspace, full cabinets, partial cabinets, shared rackspace, and footprints. The fully built-out whitespace covers 150 sq.m., and the infrastructure supports network, compute, and capacity services on demand. Whitespace is expandable to meet future needs.
Energy & Cooling
Both data centers are equipped with diesel backup and uninterruptible power supply (USV) infrastructure to ensure continuous operation. Cooling is managed via redundant air conditioning systems, maintaining optimal operating conditions for all equipment.
Security
Security is comprehensive, including 7x24 video and system monitoring, fire prevention systems, and restricted access limited to Bison IT Services personnel. Onsite security staff is available during business hours.
Network & Connectivity
Connectivity is provided by multiple carriers, including CKW Fiber Services, Swisscom, UPC-Cablecom, and Colt, ensuring high-performance and redundant network connections.
Technical Specifications
The facilities are designed to BITKOM Level C standards and operate as Tier 3 data centers. Each rack can handle a maximum power of 10 kW. The centers were purpose-built and have been operational since 2012. The tenancy type is sole-tenant, ensuring dedicated resources for customers.
