Commonly referred to as The Carrier Hotel, the facility is renowned for its carrier neutral environment and expansive 2,044 square meter white space area. This robust infrastructure is designed to host a multitude of route independent carriers. By providing a stable and scalable environment, it allows diverse telecommunications entities to coexist and interconnect seamlessly within a single ecosystem.

One of the facility’s most distinctive features is its direct access to numerous subsea cable systems. These underwater networks link the Middle East to Europe, Asia, Africa, and the United States. Because of this high density cabling, the center achieves an impressive latency of just 30 milliseconds, effectively connecting over 2 billion people and facilitating rapid data exchange across four continents.

The SmartHub is built for high performance reliability, featuring a live and fully built out power capacity of 4 MW. To ensure 100 percent uptime, the facility employs a strict 2N redundancy configuration for both its Uninterruptible Power Supply and cooling systems. With a maximum power density of 5 kW per rack, the data center is equipped to handle the intensive thermal and energy demands of modern high density computing.

Designed to meet international standards for reliability, the SmartHub is a Tier 3 facility with corresponding Tier 3 Certification. It adheres to rigorous global benchmarks, including ISO 27001 for information security, ISAE 3402 Type 2 for operational excellence, and ISO 22301 for business continuity. These certifications provide clients with the assurance that their data is managed under the highest levels of professional oversight.

Security is managed through a multi layered approach, featuring 24/7 onsite security staff, comprehensive CCTV surveillance, and strict card access control systems. To protect physical hardware from environmental threats, the facility utilizes a dual action fire suppression strategy. This includes a pre action sprinkler system combined with FM200 gas suppression, designed to extinguish fires quickly without damaging sensitive electronic equipment.
