Security and Certification
The site is protected 24x7x365 by security personnel pre-vetted to BS 7858 standards. It features comprehensive security systems including biometric access control, mantrap entry, CCTV surveillance, regular patrols, and automatic gas fire suppression. The facility is ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certified, ensuring high standards of data and physical security.
Connectivity
Situated within 30 fibre kilometres of the Docklands, Infinity Romford North offers excellent connectivity to the City of London and key fibre routes to Europe. It is a carrier-neutral facility with numerous on-site and near-to-door carriers, and is linked to other Infinity data centres through a metro fibre ring. Dark fibre connections and fast, transparent bandwidth provisioning are also available.
Power & Cooling Infrastructure
The facility is built to Tier 3 standards and offers up to 40 MW of power, with expandable whitespace, a Meet-Me-Room (MMR), and office space for sole-tenant occupancy. It uses chilled water with free cooling to maintain optimal temperatures, and an automatic standby generator ensures continuous power availability in case of any primary power failure.
Colocation and Services
Colocation services at the site include full and partial cabinets, shared rackspace, cages, private suites, and individual footprints. Remote hands support is available, and the site has been operational since 2009, currently housing one colocation tenant.
