Reliance House is a data centre facility conveniently located just minutes from Newcastle upon Tyne city centre and main transport links. The entire site is exclusively occupied by the data centre and includes a private car park, a perimeter security fence, 24/7 monitored CCTV coverage, and a proximity key-fob entry system for the data hall, ensuring high-level security. Customers can utilize a dedicated meeting room and a break-out room with vending facilities. Access to the facility is available 24/7, and remote hands services can be provided as needed. Flexible space options range from single rack U's in shared racks to quarter lockable racks and multiple full racks (up to 47U). Phase one of the facility offers space for 67 racks, with phase two expanding the total capacity to 140 individual racks.
Power and Cooling Infrastructure
Power for the facility is supplied by an adjacent utility-operated sub-station through a dedicated LV power supply. Resilience is guaranteed by an N+1 UPS system and an on-site diesel generator with enough fuel for 5 days of operation. The data centre is equipped with an Inergen gas-based fire suppression system for safety. Cold aisle containment combined with hot aisle extraction ensures efficient cooling for all collocated equipment.
Connectivity and Network Services
The site benefits from diverse fibre entry points, providing robust connectivity. Flexible Internet Transit/Bandwidth is available from Wildcard Networks and other on-site providers, with purchasing options based on Monthly Transfer or a Committed Data Rate at competitive prices. VLAN/Transport services to other major data centre facilities are also offered. For those who prefer to source their own IP connectivity, fibre is available from multiple providers, including Virgin Media, BT, Global Centurylink (Level3), and Vodafone.

Reliance House offers comprehensive colocation options, including Full Cabinets, Partial Cabinets, Shared Rackspace, and Cages/Footprints, along with Remote Hands. The facility boasts a Tier 2 Design and is ISO27001 Certified. Onsite security staff are present 24/7. The building became operational in 2012, is a sole-tenant facility with a retrofitted construction type, and offers the potential for whitespace expansion.
