The facility is a critical regional hub, home to the North Carolina IX (Internet Exchange) and seven distinct network providers. This ecosystem allows for easy cross-connects and a rich density of fiber and IP service providers, ensuring that businesses have the stable and resilient interconnection capabilities required for modern digital infrastructure.

The facility offers unparalleled access to a diverse array of unique long haul fiber networks. Major industry players including AT&T, Verizon, CenturyLink, Zayo, Windstream, and Charter are all present, providing multiple diverse network points of entry. This diversity minimizes the risk of downtime and offers Ethernet/IP network services with blistering speeds of up to N x 100GE. Whether a client requires local loops or global reach, the rich group of on-site providers ensures competitive options and high capacity throughput.

Reliability is the cornerstone of this data center’s engineering, featuring a total powered shell space supported by 5 MW of capacity. The facility utilizes Duke Energy-operated grids to provide redundant energy sources. To ensure 100% uptime, the infrastructure boasts 2N UPS redundancy and 2N standby power redundancy, meaning every power component has a mirrored backup. With a maximum power density of 10 kW per rack, the center can support high performance computing needs while maintaining stability through N+1 cooling redundancy.

Clients can choose from single full cabinets, partial cabinets, or shared rackspace for smaller deployments, or scale up to private cages and dedicated suites. For organizations with highly specific requirements, Build to Suit options and powered shell spaces are available.
