Spanning a total building size of 375000 square feet with 150000 square feet of dedicated whitespace, the center offers a highly secure environment for organizations requiring reliable infrastructure for core operations or disaster recovery needs.

West7Center provides ultra low latency direct connectivity through five diverse entry points to major Los Angeles hubs. It acts as a gateway to the Pacific, linking directly to key facilities such as the One Wilshire Building, 600 West 7th, 900 North Alameda CoreSite LAX 2, and 200 Bauchet Street CoreSite LAX 3. With 11 network providers and 9 peering networks currently on site, the facility offers flexibility and scalability for high bandwidth applications and global data transit.

The facility is engineered for maximum uptime, featuring a fully built out power capacity of 16.9 megawatts. It supports high density requirements with a maximum power of 16 kilowatts per rack. To ensure continuous operation, the center utilizes an N plus 1 UPS redundancy configuration. In the event of a utility failure, the site is supported by two central plants and redundant standby power N plus 1, with enough on site fuel to maintain full load operations for up to 120 hours without refueling.

To manage the thermal demands of high performance computing, West7Center employs an N plus 2 cooling redundancy strategy. This architecture ensures that even during equipment maintenance or multiple component failures, the environment remains stable. The facility operates with a Power Usage Effectiveness of 1.25, reflecting a highly efficient design that minimizes energy waste while supporting a maximum floor load of 2000 pounds per square foot across three floors.

As a Tier III certified facility, W7C is designed for concurrent maintainability. This allows any component in the power or cooling path to be removed for planned service without impacting the operation of integrated IT equipment. The facility offers multiple redundancy options including N plus 1, N plus N, and 2N to meet specific client requirements. This is supported by an engineering and operations team with more than 80 years of collective industry experience.

Security at West7Center is multi layered and rigorous. The perimeter is fully fenced and monitored around the clock by on site security personnel and comprehensive CCTV surveillance. Access to the whitespace is strictly controlled through card access and biometric authentication. These measures, combined with automatic fire suppression systems, protect mission critical data from physical threats and environmental risks.

W7C supports a wide range of tenancy requirements, offering partial cabinets, full cabinets, private cages, suites, and custom footprints. Remote Hands services are available twenty four hours a day for technical support, enabling clients to manage infrastructure without being physically present. Professional amenities include office space, conference rooms, breakrooms, and loading bays to support daily operations.

The retrofitted building became operational as a data center in 2016 and features a sixteen inch floor to ceiling height with mixed floor types.
