Located in Shakopee, Minnesota, the facility is a single-story, purpose-built data center situated 22 miles from both downtown Minneapolis and the Minneapolis International Airport. The site was chosen for its geographical stability, positioned safely above a 500-year flood plain and located just one mile from the providing electrical substation. This strategic placement balances easy accessibility for local staff with a secure, low-risk environment that protects against natural disasters and ensures long-term operational continuity.

The campus offers a versatile range of colocation configurations to meet diverse business needs, from small-scale deployments to massive enterprise footprints. With 15,990 square feet of fully built-out whitespace and a total building size of over 23,000 square feet, customers can choose from full or partial cabinets, shared rackspace, secure cages, or custom private suites. The facility supports a maximum power density of 0.2 kW/sq.f., providing the necessary headroom for high-density computing while maintaining the flexibility to scale as a business grows.

Reliability is the core of the MSP1 infrastructure, featuring a 2N UPS redundancy model to ensure continuous power delivery even during equipment failure. The facility's standby power and cooling systems are configured with N+1 redundancy, providing a fail-safe environment for mission-critical hardware. With a fully built-out power capacity of 1.2 MW, the data center is equipped to handle intensive workloads while maintaining the strict temperature and humidity controls required for optimal hardware performance.

Security at the Minneapolis campus is multi layered, beginning with a perimeter protected by CCTV surveillance and 24/7 onsite security personnel. Access is strictly controlled through a sequence of biometric scans, card readers, and a mantrap entry system.
