CMC Telecom operates a large-scale, high-capacity Data Center in Vietnam, designed to meet international standards and provide strategic global connectivity. With a total area exceeding 15,600 m² and the ability to support more than 2,800 racks, the facility is built for scalability and future expansion. Functioning as a major Digital Hub, it connects Vietnam seamlessly to international networks.
Security and Certifications
The Data Center upholds stringent security and compliance standards. It is certified under ISO 9001:2001 for quality management and ISO 27001 for information security. Additionally, it complies with PCI DSS, ensuring secure handling of payment data. The facility has achieved Uptime Tier III Certification across Design, Facility, and Operation, and is recognized as a DC Tier 3 – TIA-942 Rated 3 site in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Security is enforced through 24/7 onsite personnel, advanced alarm systems, CCTV surveillance, and both biometric and electrical access control mechanisms.
Infrastructure and Uptime
Designed for maximum availability, the Data Center operates in a fully air-conditioned environment running 24/7. It incorporates robust power protection systems, including UPS units and backup electrical generators. Power capacity ranges from 5–20 kW per rack, with up to 10 kW per rack allocated for colocation services, supporting high-density deployments and ensuring consistent uptime.
Network and Connectivity
CMC Telecom’s core network provides exceptional connectivity through peering agreements with major domestic and international ISPs. As a Carrier Hotel, the Data Center offers a neutral environment for all telecom carriers and service providers, serving as a vital interconnection hub. CMC Telecom is also the only Vietnamese member of the Asia Data Center Alliance (ADCA), highlighting its strong regional influence.
Operational Support
The facility’s Operations Centre provides around-the-clock administration of infrastructure and network systems, enhanced by real-time monitoring and automated warning notifications. Onsite technical personnel are available 24/7 to support customers through services such as Remote Hands, ensuring quick response and seamless operations.
